Veroi is built so your data cannot leave your Mac unless you explicitly send it somewhere. This page explains exactly what we do and don't touch.
We don't have your meetings. We can't read them, subpoena them, lose them, or sell them — because they never leave your computer.
The Veroi desktop application is designed as a local-first tool. In normal use it does not transmit your meetings, audio, transcripts, summaries, or any derived data to Veroi or to any third party.
Specifically, the following data is stored only on your Mac, inside your user account's application support directory:
The app makes network requests in only three situations:
Settings → Updates.Settings → AI Models), the app downloads the open-weights Gemma 4 and Qwen 3.5 model files from the model host (Hugging Face). The request contains only what's needed to fetch the file — no account, no license key, no meeting content. Once downloaded, the models run entirely on-device; there is no further network call to use them.No telemetry, no crash reports, no usage tracking. Veroi does not phone home with stack traces, error pings, feature-usage events, or any other diagnostic data. The app's behaviour on your Mac is not observable to us in any form.
This marketing website (veroi.ai) is served as static HTML with no first-party analytics, no pixels, no ad trackers, and no cross-site tracking.
Our hosting provider may log standard HTTP request data (IP address, user-agent, requested path, timestamp) for a short retention period solely to operate the server and mitigate abuse. We do not access these logs for marketing purposes.
The site sets no cookies except a local-only preference recording your chosen light/dark theme. That preference never leaves your browser.
When you buy Veroi, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your name, billing email, and payment details, and is an independent data controller under its own privacy policy.
We receive a record of the purchase (email, order ID, price, country for tax) and we generate a license key tied to your email. We store only what is necessary to:
We work with a short list of service providers. None of them ever receive meeting content, because we never have it to give them:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners. We will only disclose information if compelled by a binding legal order — and even then, we cannot produce your meeting data, because it is not in our possession.
Veroi is intentionally a self-contained local app. The only optional system integrations are:
There are no cloud LLM hooks, no third-party connectors (Notion, Slack, CRM, etc.), and no telemetry on conversation content. You can revoke either integration at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars or … → Reminders.
Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, UK DPA, and similar frameworks), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the limited personal data we hold, and to object to or restrict processing.
Because nearly all your data lives on your Mac, most of these rights are exercised by you directly — delete a meeting, clear the database, uninstall the app — without involving us. For the small amount of data we do hold (billing, license, support correspondence), email kailaconsulting@outlook.com.
Veroi is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in our release notes. Continued use of Veroi after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Questions, complaints, or data requests — kailaconsulting@outlook.com. A real human reads every email.
