Veroi runs entirely on your Mac — so most issues can be fixed in under a minute without waiting on a support ticket. Start here.
Veroi is a single-file macOS app. Drag it into Applications and launch. On first run you'll be asked to grant microphone and system audio access — both are required so Veroi can hear you and the other side of the call. Calendar access is optional.
Veroi only asks for what it needs. No full-disk access, no accessibility — just microphone, system audio, and (optionally) read-only calendar.
Required. Prompted on first launch. If you skipped it: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and toggle Veroi on.
Required — this is how Veroi captures the other side of a Zoom/Meet/Teams call. Uses macOS 15's native audio-capture API (no virtual drivers, no kexts). If you skipped the prompt: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording and toggle Veroi on.
Reads upcoming meeting titles and attendees so notes are pre-labeled. Never writes, never syncs to cloud.
The transcript is blank, choppy, or only captures one side of the call. In nearly every case the fix is in the Audio picker in the top-right of the meeting window.
Enable System audio in the meeting toolbar. On first use macOS will prompt you to allow audio capture — click Allow, then restart the meeting.
Switch the model in Settings → Transcription from Parakeet-TDT-1.1B to Parakeet-TDT-0.6B. The smaller model is ~2× faster with ~1 word-error-rate point of loss — imperceptible in practice.
macOS falls back to SCO mode (8 kHz) when a mic is active. Use wired headphones or your Mac's built-in mic for better audio; AirPods work fine in AAC mode when not used as input.
Veroi builds a local semantic index of every meeting so you can ask "what did Ayo commit to last quarter?" and get an answer grounded in real transcripts. The index lives at ~/Library/Application Support/Veroi.
Settings → Memory → Rebuild index. Takes ~30 seconds per 100 meetings on an M-series chip.
The embeddings model may have failed to download. Check Settings → Models — you should see Gemma 4 listed as installed.
Right-click the meeting in the sidebar → Delete forever. The transcript, audio, and embeddings are wiped and the index is updated immediately.
Veroi is architected so your data cannot leave your device. There is no account, no cloud, no telemetry — ever. Here's where everything lives:
Veroi is a one-time $79.99 purchase per person — good for up to 2 active Mac activations. No subscription, no seat math, no renewal. Install Veroi on a new Mac, paste the same license key, and activate; if both activations are already in use, deactivate an old Mac first.
Free trial: 3 days of the full app, no credit card. The in-app onboarding offers the trial signup at the paywall step — just download the DMG to get started.
Lost your license key? Forward your purchase receipt to kailaconsulting@outlook.com and we'll resend within the day.
Refunds: 7-day money-back guarantee, no questions. Just reply to your receipt.
Veroi for iPhone and iPad is currently available on TestFlight while we gather feedback. It is a private AI notetaker with real-time transcription, AI summaries, action items, meeting memory, project context, email follow-ups, and Mail integration.
Best for: in-person meetings, speakerphone calls, interviews, lectures/classes, and using your iPhone or iPad as a second-device meeting companion.
Important limitation: due to iOS limitations, the iOS app does not directly capture Zoom, Teams, FaceTime, or phone-call audio from the device itself. The Mac version has full mic + system audio capture and deeper integrations.
Veroi is built by a single indie developer. Reach out and you'll get a real person, usually within a day.
